Jump up the steps and head right to get to the top of the structure and to a line of asteroids (which will be guarded by Spitters and other various enemies). Continue along the thicker beam section (a line of Coins will appear when you do this), and around the corner you’ll find a tiny astronaut toy. Continue following the wooden path forward to the next wall, defeating three Knockers and a Spiky as you go.

Use the clouds to reach the ledges on the wall opposite, and then climb up to the area above. Punch the tree directly in front of you by long-holding Square to perform a spinning attack. Cross the controller cable bridge to the island with the strong wind, and then a second controller cable bridge. Directly ahead is an Astro Bot in Ape Escape cosplay hiding in a bush.
The Look And Sound Of Astro’s Playroom Are Natural Endorphins
While none of the sequences are terribly difficult, there’s enough of a challenge here to keep me busy for around six hours as I chase the Platinum Trophy. Adding the PS5 Pro Artifact could be a good excuse for players to return to Astro’s Playroom. The game also has one of the easiest platinum trophies on PS5, so completing all levels can be quite rewarding as well.
Other stages are linear platforming challenges that use Astro’s laser-powered hover-jump. TD88 are also pretty forgiving, with generous checkpoints and obstacles that provide just enough resistance to make you pause a moment, but not so much that you get stuck. Plus, it’s hard to get too mad with the game’s infectiously upbeat soundtrack going in the background. Every function and feature of the controller gets a little time in the spotlight.
Astro’s Playroom Puzzle Pieces: Where To Find All The Jigsaw Pieces
Astro’s Playroom is as old as the PlayStation 5, and this is most likely the first game new owners booted up. Despite being a brief experience, this is the kind of game that can be played with family members and is worth playing in 2025. Vita Game Packs could also be used on the PlayStation TV, which meant it wasn’t a digital-only platform like the PSP Go was. The PlayStation 3 used Blu-Ray discs as its optical storage method, a format that would be used for the PlayStation 4 and 5 as well.
Trophies are another kind of collectible that are available in every PlayStation 5 game (as well as the PS4, PS3 and PSVita). They aren’t tracked internally in the game, but are instead tracked externally by the system itself. We’ll be playing Astro Bot for our readers and will have our thoughts ready in time for the game’s launch.
